About the Author

Fay Kazi-Tani, the author of the book: “Poem 22: Love Notes to Soul”, beats to her own whimsical drum and dances to the rhythms of the Universe. She is a soulful poet who weaves her heart into all that she creates and imagines.  Her words intend to take you on a whimsical journey of self-love through healing, feeling, and becoming. Fay is a teacher, healer, lightworker, starseed, creatress, nature lover, mental health & wellness advocate, and most of all...she is a lover.

Fay completed her education at the University of Calgary, where she acquired a B.Sc. and B.Ed. She has also acquired certifications in Yoga, Energy Medicine, Reflexology, Human and Animal Reiki, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Equine Therapy II.

Fay aspires to help people to learn to love themselves just the way they are, by taking them on a poetic journey of feeling, healing, and becoming. This is the very journey that she began to experience 12 years ago.

Fay hopes to encourage people to seek what lies within, to connect with their heart and their radiant Soul, to remember who they are, and who they have always been.  Fay’s poetry, in essence, guides her readers to unearth the star that they are, discover their inner gifts, and inspire them to share these unique pieces of themselves to the world.  Her poetry intends to help others feel into the depths of their emotions so they can heal. She dreams to accomplish all this and more with her current work, her very first book, her books to follow, and with all the opportunities that come thereafter.

Fay has been through much in her life and it’s because of her personal healing journey, growth, and her intuitive and empathic nature, that she feels a profound purpose towards sharing her poetry and her story with others.

Fay adores free verse/ free flow poetry, as it naturally streams through her being, connecting her to her Soul, her pure essence, and her angels.  Apart from writing, she also enjoys various activities such as travelling, teaching yoga, being in nature, exploring oceans and seas as much as possible, and providing wellness advice based on her very own experiences of healing to those who seek it. She is passionate about spending time strengthening the future generations as a teacher, and developing expressive arts lessons for those she collaborates with.

Fay has decided that she will create a “Love Notes to Soul” poetry collection. It will be a guided collection of free verse/flowing poetry continuing from her first book.  All her poetry within this collection will be taken from her journals from the past and will take the reader on an even deeper, soulful, & poetic journey of feeling, healing & becoming. She would love for her readers to travel through the collection in order, so that they can move through her soulfully inspired phases with ease and grace.

"Poem 22: Love Notes to Soul" will soon be followed by her second book, so keep an eye open for that and to once again, finding: “Poem 22” within its pages.
